Servamp Manga Quick Highlights

I have been reading the Servamp manga, and I have to say I have been really enjoying it. The anime was good as well, but there's something about the manga, the original work, which always has a unique flavor to it. I feel like I've gotten to know all of the character better, and the plot extends further as well. There's tons of things about the manga that I would love to talk about, but it would spoil a lot and would take up too much time, so I'll just do a couple highlights of things I was able to screenshot. It was hard to tear my eyes away from the pages long enough to even do it.

One one my favorite things about the whole series, is Kuro in his cat form. He's just this cute, tiny little kitty, and he has such a long tail. I will admit right now that I'm a cat addict, and I could ramble on for hours about how cute they are and all of their other merits. But this is an anime blog, not a cat blog! Anyway, look how cute and round he is after eating dinner! Even Mahiru says he looks like a little Dango, which is a round Japanese mochi treat. He's so cute, and his teeny arms are rubbing his plump dango belly, and I just want to scoop him up and cuddle him forever. I love Dango Kuro, and just cat form Kuro in general, he's so sweet and adorable. I'm a sucker for cats of any kind.

On one of the new chapter pages, they had a sort of fantasy AU for Mahiru and the new characters from C3. I was skimming it and thought it was cute how Strike Tanaka describes his own creations. Like Mahiru is the high school housewife, Kuro is the NEET vampire, and then there's new papa.... Wait, papa? As it, daddy? Wait wait... OH RIGHT HE HAD A KID. RIGHT. THAT'S WHAT THIS IS. NOTHING ELSE. Too bad I can't explain away the boot-licking scum one...
Many thanks to  Bookwalker Global, who gave Anime Society free credits to get some of their e-books. Make sure to check them out, they have a huge selection of books from Japan, all for a decent price. And most of their content comes out before it hits shelves, so you can get in on the action before anyone else can, all while keeping it on your device, easy to transport.
